I won my first minibike when I was 6 by guessing how many beans were in a jar. My mini bike and I were all over the neighborhood. I soon outgrew the mini bike and began taking my brother’s bike. As I grew older, motorcycling took a backseat to my priorities. In my mid 30’s I was re-introduced to motorcycling, bought my Harley and took the class. For the next three months, I rushed home to get on my bike. My company decided I could serve them better in Corpus Christi, TX. It was difficult being a single biker looking for people to JUST ride with in a new city. One night while surfing the net, I came across the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Site and read about becoming an Instructor. Awesome! What better way to meet people than doing what I love? I became an Instructor and taught my 1st class in Houston. I fell in love again with Houston. New goal………get my company to move me back. After several years of driving to Houston on weekends to teach, my company moved me back! AWESOME!! Now not only do I have my old riding buddies, but also the ones I met through teaching. Life is AWESOME!!!
