In Texas, if your scooter is over 50cc OR can attain speeds of 31mph or more*, you'll need to get a Motorcycle Endorsement on your drivers license.
If your vehicle is smaller than this, it may
qualify as a moped and you will need to obtain a
moped license. Contact your local DPS office
regarding licensing requirements.
