A few suggestions...
Congratulations on registering at the Awesomest Motorcycle Riding School in Houston. Here you'll find a few tips (and a little advice) on what to do before your class starts.
1)
Before Your Class: You are required to take the MSF eCourse. The eCourse Certificate of Completion
is valid for 30 days from the date of completion. Upon completion of the eCourse please email the
certificate of completion (JPEG/PDF only) to office@awesomecycles.com with your class date in the subject line.
You will NOT be permitted to take the class without your completion certificate.
2) Double check the start time for your class. State rules prohibit us from allowing anyone to continue the class if they arrive late. Please arrange to arrive on time as there are no refunds
or rescheduling for this course.
3) Please be sure you have all of the appropriate riding gear with you. You MUST bring these items with you to class. (Note: If you are enrolled in a 3-day weekend course, you will not need these items until Saturday morning.)
4) Click here for a map/directions to the classroom. We suggest that you print the directions. Since the classroom and office are separate, the
office will not be open on your way to class. Just a tip: Everyone that gets
lost tried using google, yahoo, their cellphone or GPS for directions. Students that use
our directions never get lost. :-)
5) Minors (Under 18): If you are a minor (under 18), make arrangements to have your guardian sign the appropriate waivers. You can download and print them below, or bring your guardian at the beginning of class. All three waivers MUST be signed before you will be allowed on a training bike. You must also bring your learner's permit or driver's license with you to the first day of class. We cannot allow you on a bike if you do not bring
these items.

6) Riding your own motorcycle: If you are planning on riding your own motorcycle in the class, remember that you must call Awesome Cycles at least 24 hours before your class begins. You must also show proof of ownership, liability insurance and your bike must pass a pre-ride inspection. You will also have to sign the following additional waiver at the beginning of class.
Personal Motorcycle in the BRC
7) If you haven't ridden a bicycle in awhile, we suggest that you borrow one (or dust yours off if that's the case) and practice a little. Please remember, being able to ride a bicycle is a requirement for this course.
8) The best advice we can give you is this... RELAX. Even if you've never been on a motorcycle before, that's what this course is designed for. You're going to spend a couple of days in the company of good people (with the same interest), getting advice from some of the AWESOMEST Instructors in Houston, and most importantly... riding a motorcycle! What more could you ask for?
9) Everyone will be required to fill out a waiver. If you'd like to view it:

10) If you wish to ride a scooter instead of a training bike, remember to call 281-293-7663 and reserve one. Scooters are available on a "first come" basis.
11) If you would like some additional tips from our Instructors.
12) If you have any questions that haven't been answered, please check the frequently asked questions section or email us at office@awesomecycles.com or call us at 281-293-7663.
